Lily Cottage seems to recall the early 20th century summer visitors to Nantucket - the community of artists and actors in 'Sconset and Town who adapted old fishing shacks, lighthouses, warehouses and other buildings as simple cottages and studios. Cobbled together from 19th century workshops and outbuildings, cottage conveniences are both inviting and pleasantly surprising.

Open beamed cathedral ceilings give this Tudor styled suite an English cottage atmosphere. A massive master suite and fully renovated, tiled master bath occupies the entire second floor, while an open floor plan on the first floor makes for comfortable entertaining. Just off the kitchen, rests a half bath and a twin bedded room complete with washer/dryer cabinet. The kitchen flows easily into the large living area, as numerous windows bathe the first and second
floors in warm light. The covered front porch overlooking lovely landscaping is an obvious favorite among our many guests, and serves as the perfect place for barbequing, dining, and enjoying refreshments while looking out onto one of Nantucket's most historic neighborhoods.

Yet, with all its time-honored tradition, modern creature comforts have not been overlooked, as you will find cable/internet access, washer and dryer, and ample parking. Whimsical colors, cozy bedding and all the comforts of home complete your encounter and evoke feelings of belonging, enriching your experiences during your stay on Nantucket and the memories you keep with you long after you’ve gone.
